As recommended by A****, I finally went to see Doctor Liew. he is such a friendly doctor, I feel like bringing him home treating him like my uncle… heheh

He is really a nice person to talk to, a very humor doctor and willing to spend times sharing his knowledge to us *as a patient should know, and bonus info*…

Usually when u go and see a doctor, they will ask what happen and why and what…blahblahblah.. then OK. But Doctor Liew is such a detail person; he patiently explains the head and tail and give us some professional advice.
Some doctor is very commercialize, they always advise you to spent money on doing something unnecessary, “since you can claim insurance, then just buy lah/ do it la.” This is really irresponsible as a professional doctor. But anyway.. ppl are just cari makan, as long as it doesn’t really create any damage to our health and life, then sudah la…

Come back to Doctor Liew, so finally I understood what this cervical cancer all about and why government encourages us (male and female) to take the vaccination. FYI, the prevention works perfectly to the age 9-26, especially if you are virgin. But there is no harm to take it even u are not in that age range or have sexually active.

Cervical Cancer (子宫颈癌) is the 2nd most common cancer among Malaysian women. It’s caused by a common virus called Human Papillomavirus (HPV). The Fact is at least 50% of people who are sexually active will get genital HPV.

Please go and read more on http://www.tellsomeone.com.my/

The vaccination comes with 3 jabs: now, 2 months later and 4 months later. Means today is the first jab 25th May 2007, then 25th July 2007 will be the second jab and the last jab will be on 25th November 2007.

Without a long consideration, we decided to take the jab *happily*

A****, I think he missed you already, coz during the consultation we have been talking about you and he asked a few times how are you there… hehe…

We also talked about other things as well, as an experience doctor he also advised me to take some action for the discovered lump. We are planning to visit Doctor Loo in Ipoh to seek the second opinion. I really appreciate Doctor Liew’s professional advice although he didn’t do much but with his knowledge and consultation, it meant a lot to me. Sometimes, ppl just need some support when they are weak. *Speaking from the right person is very important!

If you are keen to visit, below is Doctor Liew’s contact. He is a friendly doctor.
