I wonder since when I’ve started to be so health conscious, maybe it was started when I found out there is a YELLOW light in my health traffic recently. Alright, there is never “too late†to begin now. So better not just do the talking, must take care~~ hmhn.. the thing is I am having flu, fever and headache since last Wednesday.
I was impressed by my stamina in last week’s wedding shooting. I must blog about it as I think I am superb, haha! *Maybe i am just still young!! :D* Anyone that knows about my disaster in last weekend, I was acting too panic without knowing what to do the next, must thanks to Kevin & Paul’s guidance in handling the situation, and specially thanks to Kevin for helping me out in the midnight, I think I awaken him up from the bed. Anyway, I leant from the experience and hope it will not happen to anyone out there too.
So after the 4 hours bedtime, I was so excited and can’t wait to wakeup and quickly drive to seremban again for the session. And yeah, I managed to shoot 8 hours continuously without “low batt†in my energy. Usually I will look like half dead after the shooting session even for a leisure outdoor shooting. But this time, I was like… hey… let me cook the dinner or drive you all out for dinner…. Haha. I think I might be over excited or little kisau!
*shiiii* maybe it was bcoz I took “Uphamol 650â€.?? Don’t be surprised that this is my first time taking it as I always reluctant to take medicine. Hehe… So from now on, I will keep “Uphamol 650†in my bag for emergency.
I’ve formatted my PC and I couldn’t recall what tool I used to resize and watermark the photos… arggg.. can someone tell me or give me a tool pls…
As recommended by A****, I finally went to see Doctor Liew. he is such a friendly doctor, I feel like bringing him home treating him like my uncle… heheh
He is really a nice person to talk to, a very humor doctor and willing to spend times sharing his knowledge to us *as a patient should know, and bonus info*…
Usually when u go and see a doctor, they will ask what happen and why and what…blahblahblah.. then OK. But Doctor Liew is such a detail person; he patiently explains the head and tail and give us some professional advice.
Some doctor is very commercialize, they always advise you to spent money on doing something unnecessary, “since you can claim insurance, then just buy lah/ do it la.†This is really irresponsible as a professional doctor. But anyway.. ppl are just cari makan, as long as it doesn’t really create any damage to our health and life, then sudah la…
Come back to Doctor Liew, so finally I understood what this cervical cancer all about and why government encourages us (male and female) to take the vaccination. FYI, the prevention works perfectly to the age 9-26, especially if you are virgin. But there is no harm to take it even u are not in that age range or have sexually active.
Cervical Cancer (å宫颈癌) is the 2nd most common cancer among Malaysian women. It’s caused by a common virus called Human Papillomavirus (HPV). The Fact is at least 50% of people who are sexually active will get genital HPV.
Please go and read more on http://www.tellsomeone.com.my/
The vaccination comes with 3 jabs: now, 2 months later and 4 months later. Means today is the first jab 25th May 2007, then 25th July 2007 will be the second jab and the last jab will be on 25th November 2007.
Without a long consideration, we decided to take the jab *happily*
A****, I think he missed you already, coz during the consultation we have been talking about you and he asked a few times how are you there… hehe…
We also talked about other things as well, as an experience doctor he also advised me to take some action for the discovered lump. We are planning to visit Doctor Loo in Ipoh to seek the second opinion. I really appreciate Doctor Liew’s professional advice although he didn’t do much but with his knowledge and consultation, it meant a lot to me. Sometimes, ppl just need some support when they are weak. *Speaking from the right person is very important!
If you are keen to visit, below is Doctor Liew’s contact. He is a friendly doctor.

Jab that beats cervical cancer – Wednesday, May 9, 2007
A ‘wonder drug’ to beat cervical cancer has proved almost 100 per cent successful in trials.
Gardasil blocked the two major strains of a virus which cause most cases of the disease, tests involving more than 12,000 women showed.
The results prompted health campaigners to call on the Government to make the vaccine readily available for girls in secondary schools.
However, critics have warned such a move will only encourage sexual promiscuity in the young.
In the latest research, women aged between 15 and 26, from 13 countries, were monitored for three years. The vaccine was 98 per cent successful in targeting two strains of the human papilloma virus and preventing pre-cancerous changes which can lead to the disease.
In nine out of ten women, it also blocked two other strains of the virus which cause genital warts.
US researcher Dr Kevin Ault said: ‘Severe reactions to the vaccine appear to be rare.’
His team’s findings confirm those of Australian researchers who tested more than 5,450 women.
Writing in the New England Journal Of Medicine, two experts said: ‘Investigators in these trials have hit their mark soundly.’
Gardasil was approved for females aged nine to 26 by the EU in September but is available only privately in Britain. The jabs are most effective when given before a girl becomes sexually active.
Cervical cancer charity Jo’s Trust wants a nationwide programme of vaccination in secondary schools launched by the end of the year.
‘This new data is a significant breakthrough,’ it said.

So. everyone out there, please go and take the jab, it cost you RM400 1 jab and you probably need to take 3 jab but it can save your life!
anyway, i am going to see the doctor later *since i got flu, fever, headache*, to consult for the jab.
Cervical cancer early symptoms will be experienced by an estimated 13,000 women in the USA each year. Early symptoms of cervical cancer and cervical cancer are the second most common type of cancer in women worldwide.
Cervical cancer causes are commonly related to a sexually transmitted virus called the human papilloma virus or ‘HPV’. Most HPV infections will not lead to cervical cancer early symptoms and cancer. However, infection with these viral types can lead to abnormal changes in the cells of the cervix. Certain changes called ‘high-grade lesions’ may progress to early symptoms of cervical cancer and cervical cancer if not treated.
Common cervical cancer early symptoms include these symptoms:
• Vaginal bleeding after sexual intercourse
• Pelvic pain
• Pain during sexual intercourse
• Unusual vaginal discharge
• Abnormal bleeding between menstrual periods
• Heavy bleeding during your menstrual period
• Increased urinary frequency
When cervical cancer early symptoms are suspected, Pap smears are the best screening technique currently available to evaluate the cells on the face of the cervix. The Pap smear is a test for the early symptoms of cervical cancer such as cancerous or pre-cancerous cells of the cervix. Most Pap smear test results are rated from Class I through Class V.
• Class I is normal,
• Class II means an irritation or inflammation,
• Class III means it is a true cervical dysplasia that can range from mild to serious,
• Class IV may be one of a variety of pre-cancers or cancers,
• Class V is one of the serious invasive cervical cancer signs.
Pap smear tests are necessary, but they are not always accurate. And their results sometimes appear normal even when a woman has the abnormal cells of cancer. If cervical cancer early symptoms are suspected and the Pap smear test comes back either as normal or as positive, consider getting another Pap smear from a different laboratory and a second opinion from another doctor. If your Pap smear shows dysplasia, a biopsy can rule out cervical cancer.
Another testing method being developed uses a small fiber optic probe that may replace pap smears. This method is still being tested. Hopefully, it should give women more accurate screenings, eliminate unnecessary biopsies and help diagnose cervical cancer early symptoms and early cancer stages. Ask your doctor if this or a more accurate test for cervical cancer is now available.
Early symptoms of cervical cancer often go on without the woman suspecting that a problem exists! Cervical cancer is usually a slow-growing cancer. As a result, cervical cancer is often diagnosed and treated in an advanced stage when the success rate is much lower. Most women with invasive cervical cancer will be treated with surgery, chemotherapy and radiation or some combination of these. And a hysterectomy may be recommended as a consequence of cervical cancer that has spread within the cervix.
With the ovaries being an important source of hormone production, a hysterectomy with removal of the ovaries is a major event with health consequences for a woman. Even if the ovaries are not removed, their function will become impaired within 1-2 years after a partial hysterectomy, again with related health consequences.
Understand what the cervical cancer early symptoms are so that proper medical help can be obtained when needed. And learn more about the early menopause symptoms and side effects of hysterectomy, two important related womens health concerns.

Depressing day.
I received a very low payback for the hard work I did in last year. It is just too unbelievable when I see the figure in the letter however I told myself it’s printed black and white on this white paper that I am holding, the fact is I’ve got no say on the matter anymore. So, just be…

Went for ladies health screening at PMC (Promotion price@RM50), it’s recommended to do a yearly pap smear as soon as a woman is sexually active. Since I am a happy healthy married women so I should go. Okay, there goes my first time on Pap test. :D

Choyli and I met up for the test, I know I am being little talk-too-much with Miss.Ong (the nurse with blue uniform), I just trying to dig more tips and info for a lazy married women that just couldn’t put her finger on women health article… hehe..
The first time is pretty good experienced, luckily I met Miss.Ong and Dr.Letchumi. Dr.Letchimi did a breast test for me and she found a small lump, *upset*. Why back again? Why keep coming back one, doctor? Why? Dr.Letchumi couldn’t answer me, “it’s a harmless lump girl, no worry.†Alright, alright, no big ideal. I will go for specialist to further check.
Will go back to collect the test result next week, perhaps only a short consultation needed next week, otherwise it will be a bad news liu..
Wish me luck.
